PLDT Home is making holiday dreams come true with its All-Out Travel Giveaway promo, running until December 31, 2024, with up to ₱1 million worth of travel credits up for grabs.

Existing subscribers who upgrade their PLDT Home Fiber plan or add-on services like WiFi Mesh, Stream TV, Cignal TV, or Home security cameras can automatically earn six (6) raffle entries for every upgrade or add-on.

Twenty-six (26) lucky subscribers will win in the All-Out Travel Giveaway. PLDT Home is giving one (1) grand prize winner of P100,000 worth of travel vouchers from Philippine Airlines (PAL), three (3) winners of P80,000 PAL vouchers, five (5) winners of P50,000 PAL vouchers, seven (7) winners of P30,000 PAL vouchers, and ten (10) winners of P20,000 PAL vouchers.

These travel credits can be used to explore the Philippines or venture abroad, whether to tick destinations off their bucket list or to fulfill travel goals. With travel as a top priority for many, a 2024 study showed Japan is the leading destination for Filipino travelers, with 32% visiting in the past year, followed by Singapore (22%), Hong Kong (21%) and Thailand (18%).

Beyond the thrill of possibly winning travel credits, upgrading their Fiber plan boosts their digital experience with fast, reliable internet that keeps Filipinos seamlessly connected, and able to enjoy streaming their favorite shows in ultra-high definition and lag-free.

Whether one is a gamer seeking low-latency connections or a remote worker needing reliable internet for video conferences, PLDT Home’s Fiber plans can power up their digital activities at home.

Globe: No unregistered SIMs in active use

Globe has been at the forefront of efforts to strictly implement and comply with the SIM Registration Act, ensuring that all SIMs currently in use are registered. Globe currently has 58.8 million mobile subscribers. Following the registration period from December 27, 2022 to July 30, 2023, which covered SIMs already in use before passage of the law, Globe deactivated over 30 million unregistered SIMs. Since
